Here’s how this concept was started: I sold a motorcycle to a collector in Chicago... then another... This buyer called me up one day and asked me if I would sell a couple of motorcycles from his collection on Ebay. I asked him why he wanted me to do this for him... He told me the exceptional feedback, composition of the photos and wording in the listings were key factors. This guy is 3.5 hours from me (one way) and has brought me more than 12 motorcycles to sell in the past 12 months. Why does he do this? He knows when you add up our experience, credibility and the other main selling factors he will be receiving higher bids for his bikes. I have sold to buyers in: Norway, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Israel, France, Canada, Taiwan, The Czech Republic, Mexico and of course the United States. Click HERE to read our Ebay feedback. What we will sell: Motorcycles, boats, outboard motors, cars, trucks, vans, snowmobiles....if it burns gas, we will sell it. We are picky on what we sell. We will review your item to see if it is the caliber needed to assure a good sale for you and for us. How the process works: You tell us the lowest price you will accept for your vehicle. This is the "Reserve Price". Your item will not sell below that level. We do the research to see if the "Reserve Price" is realistic. If so, we sign an agreement protecting Classic Motor Works and you, take the photos and gather pertinent information about the vehicle, then list it on Ebay. What we charge for our services: The fee depends on the vehicle and it's value. Please CONTACT US. When do you get paid: We ask for buyers to pay us within three days at the end of the auction. Most buyers can accomplish this. We ask for certified funds to insure the transaction is legitimate. Once the funds are collected by Classic Motor Works, we deduct the Ebay fees, commission and pay you. The buyer either comes and gets the vehicle themselves or arranges their own shipping. Where is the vehicle kept during the auction: You can keep it... or we will store it for you. Honesty is the best policy: If your item has a hidden problem, PLEASE do not ask us to sell it. We have worked hard to attain what we have on Ebay. What is your guarantee: The only guarantee we can provide, if we accept your item, is we will work hard to sell your item at the highest price possible. |
